Nutrition can be difficult to understand, with so many different components making up what we know as nutrition. When I first started dieting and learned about the macronutrients in food, I was extremely confused. I had known about the existence of these nutrients, but never really stopped to think about what they were, and what each one did for your body. When I had first started going to the gym, my coach had advised me to start a protein diet. I was a bit nervous at first, thinking I could only eat meat, but then I was shown a chart of high protein foods. This might’ve been the first time I realized that there was so much about nutrition I hadn’t known. Through my blog, I’m hoping to share my ideas and information about nutrition I find interesting, and to spread more knowledge about it.
